Hi! I’m Dan.
I’ve been tinkering and teaching in the digital journalism and media technology spaces since 1994. I have had key roles at a number of storied brands, including The Washington Post, The Denver Post, AOL, and the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University. I still teach at SU, and fill the role of Journalism Innovation chair. Lately I have been spending a LOT of time with AI, but I’m better known for my earlier work in virtual reality for journalism.
